[ There's a definite pause on his end. Bruce would say no. He knows that. Paranoia before friendship, before everything else when it comes to the work. When it comes to everything in their lives.

But it means something, that Clark would ask at all. That he thinks enough of Dick, enough of the secret he's protecting to give him a say in whether or not he shares it with probably the most important person in the world to him. Someone he trusts with everything. Would he have asked Clark the same, if it was Barbara?

Clark trusts Lois. He's chosen to trust this Clark. Don't the rules have to be different here, for what he's doing now to work? Doesn't it start to throw a wrench into teamwork, into the whole idea of trust itself, to hold it so sacred?

There's no Batman here. No one at risk other than himself.
